Tasting note This wines aromatics encapsulate a broad spectrum of varietal flavours from the tropical fragrances of guava and mango to ripe lime citrus and sweet herbs with some whiffs of refreshing cut grass. The palate also is juicy and voluminous, combining concentrated flavours with a mineral acidity that leaves a long, fresh, intense finish.

The Long Mountain Wine Company takes it's name from the dramatic Langeberg (Long Mountain) range, which extends for over 200 kilometers along the edge of the Breede River Valley in the Western Cape region of South Africa.

White wines are usually fermented without the skins to achieve a lighter, paler colour. Some winemakers use a proportion of the skins in contact with the wine to influence the flavour and add complexity. Further complexity can be achieved by fermenting or aging the wine in oak, which can add buttery, creamy, spicy notes
